the summer camp for teens in brief:
Our Senior Adventure Camp in the Swiss Alps offers teens aged 13 to 17 an enriching experience aimed at nurturing and perfecting their leadership skills amidst the beautiful Swiss landscape, have fun, create memorable experiences and take part into unique adventures! This immersive program focuses on outdoor leadership, risk management and decision-making in adventurous contexts.
0% WiFi, 100% Adventure AND FUN!
Leave the phone at home — you won’t miss it. Our camps are proudly tech-free, because the best moments of summer don’t happen on a screen. No scrolling, no group chats, no “just five more minutes.” Instead: real conversations, real friendships, and a week of adventures you’ll actually remember. Parents, don’t worry — you can reach our team 24/7, we run a dedicated call day, and we post daily photos so you can follow the adventure from home.

Bilingual and International: Camp in English and French
The Young Explorers Club summer camp welcomes international and Swiss participants in a bilingual, multicultural environment. Our activities take place mainly in English, but French is also integrated, enabling all children to feel included.
Our team speaks multiple languages (English, French, German and others), creating a supportive environment, whether your child is fluent in English or is just starting to learn it.

A Day in the SENIOR TEENAGER CAMP
No two days look the same, but here’s the rhythm:
- Mornings — the big adventure block. Via ferrata on a cliff face, an MTB descent, a caving expedition, a glacier hike, or hunting for crystals in the mountains. You and the crew plan it together.
- Afternoons — lake days with boat-building and paddleboarding, camping nights under the stars, bonfire workshops, mountain karts and downhill scooters, or a river raft challenge.
- Evenings — dinner, then town time in the village, followed by Senior Challenges before lights out.
By the end of the week it doesn’t feel like camp — it feels like your own little community.
Most camps split kids into teams that compete against each other. We do the opposite. At the Senior camp, everyone works as one united group chasing a shared weekly goal. You’ll plan routes together, split the roles, solve problems on the fly, and figure out that real leadership isn’t about being the loudest — it’s about stepping up when your crew needs you. Adventure is the classroom; teamwork is the lesson.

Leadership : Daily Skill-Building Workshops
What sets the Senior camp apart isn’t just the adrenaline — it’s what you take home with you. Every day, alongside the adventures, the crew gathers for a 1–2 hour hands-on workshop focused on the skills that actually matter in life: leading, communicating, working with people who are nothing like you, and keeping a cool head when things get hard.
These aren’t lectures. There are no desks, no slides, no note-taking. Each session is interactive, dynamic, and tuned to the mood and energy of a group of teenagers — sometimes a game, sometimes a real challenge, sometimes a conversation around the fire. The skills get drilled in the workshop, then tested for real that same week out on the mountain, on the lake, or while running an activity for the younger campers. Learn it, then live it.
SOME OF THE SOFTSKILLS WORKSHOPS:
- Lead From Anywhere — leadership isn’t a title; it’s stepping up at the right moment.
- Say It So They Get It — clear communication under pressure.
- Decisions on the Mountain — making smart calls when there’s no obvious answer.
- The Feedback Game — giving and taking feedback without the sting.
- Conflict Without Drama — disagreeing well and turning tension into teamwork.
- Know Your Crew — emotional intelligence and reading the room.
- Set the Goal, Make the Plan — goal-setting the group uses right away.
- The Confidence Builder — public speaking and self-belief, minus the cringe.
- Teamwork Under Pressure — problem-solving challenges you can only crack together.
- The Mentor Mindset — prepping seniors to guide the younger campers.
- Resilience & Growth Mindset — turning “I can’t” into “I can’t yet.”
- Reflection Circles — short evening wind-downs where the learning sticks.
