Young Explorers Club

An MTB camp for both beginners and advanced enthusiasts

Every morning: enjoy MTB Summer Camp outings adapted to every level: from beginners to experts, explore alpine trails while developing your technical skills.

In the afternoon: The adrenaline continues with group activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, football, and more, always under the supervision of our experienced guides. The camp also offers magical nights under the stars for a total immersion in nature!

02 / 07 · Day by day

Day by day

Two weeks of camp, day by day. Every morning is on the bike, in groups by level, from first trails to technical descents. In the afternoon, the riders join the multisports programme and choose one of its three or four activities, away from the bike - except on the full-day ride over a mountain pass.

The second week brings new rides and new afternoon activities, so a child who stays longer repeats very little. Plans adapt to the weather.

More details

  • What's included

    • All Inclusive: Activities, Accommodation, Food, Tours, etc.
    • Meals with flexible options.
    • Bike and other equipment included.
    • Airport Shuttle: Transport from / to Geneva Airport included for international participants.
  • Packing list

Everything to bring is on our material list.

  • Meeting point & travel

For Swiss participants, the meeting point for all the different sessions of the camps is at Lausanne Train Station. From Lausanne, transport is organized to the departure of the camp. Another meeting point will be organized from Geneva airport for international participants (included in the price). It is also possible to bring the participant directly at our chalets in Les Diablerets.

  • Camp Location

Location of the Junior Camp: Chalet Budokan, Les Diablerets (Vaud, Switzerland).

Les Diablerets: Located in the Swiss Alps, Les Diablerets is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Campers enjoy the unique opportunity to bike, hike and participate in thrilling sports in a breathtaking setting. Ski resort in winter and in summer full of things to do!

  • Languages

This program is designed to foster the development of technical and soft skills through a series of activities, workshops, and hands-on leadership opportunities.

We believe in bringing together an international community, which is why the languages spoken at the camp are French and English, which is what we have seen from our past experience and the huge benefit of mixing Francophones and Anglophones and learning from both groups.

  • The point system and teams

The Color Team System: A Summer-Long Friendly Competition

All campers are divided into three color groups, creating a strong sense of belonging and teamwork. Throughout the week and across the entire summer teams earn points through:

    • Challenges and games
    • Team spirit and cooperation
    • Fair play and positive attitude

This friendly competition adds excitement to daily activities and connects campers across different weeks, making them part of a larger Young Explorers Club summer adventure.

For full details, schedules, and the latest updates, don’t forget to consult the brochure, where the complete and most current program is available.

  • Does the programme of activities change week by week?

Yes. Most of our participants stay for two weeks or more, so the activities change every week: a child who stays several weeks does something new each week rather than the same programme again. The day-by-day programme on this page shows one typical week.

  • I have more questions

We believe in human-to-human interaction: write to us via our contact methods (https://youngexplorersclub.ch/contact/) and schedule a call or meeting with one of our employees. We will be happy to answer any doubts or questions you may have.
