Teen Leadership and Adventure Camp: the week of 2 August 2026

Thursday's photos were of a slower pace. The group spent time in town, posing on the steps of a shop with their bags and their shopping, in shorts and the club's blue shirts. Later they were out in the sun in a park at the foot of green, wooded slopes, with chalets and a clear blue sky above. Some balanced on a log seesaw and climbed on the play equipment, others sat on the grass braiding each other's hair. Two of the group rested on a bench at the edge of the woods, a bike left against a rock beside them. A quieter day, after the climbing and the caves.

On Tuesday the leaders shared a first set of photos from the mountains. The group stood together in their blue shirts on a green meadow, limestone peaks behind them and white clouds racing across a blue sky. In helmets and harnesses they clipped onto the steel cable of a via ferrata and worked their way along a grey rock face, the valley wide and green below. Later they scrambled up to a rocky point with ranges of mountains on every side. Another set of photos went underground: headlamps on, the group squeezed through a narrow cave passage. On the walk back through the long grass, a swallowtail butterfly settled on a hand and stayed long enough for a photo.
