Adrenaline Multisports: a bit of everything, ages 9 to 13

The junior camp's most varied programme: climbing, football, mountain biking, paddleboarding, camping, survival workshops and even boat building, all in one week. It is the programme we recommend for a first camp.

Afternoons, evenings, meals and rooms are shared with the other junior programmes at Chalet Budokan in Les Diablerets, so children mix and make friends across the whole camp. More about the junior camps.

Senior Adventure Camp: the mountains as a playground, ages 14 to 17

From Chalet Jolimont, in the centre of Les Diablerets, teens spend the week on mountain adventures: via ferrata, mountain biking, caving, glacier hikes, lake days and nights camping. The group plans some of the outings itself.

It is active but not extreme, and every challenge is a choice. More about the teen camps.

Why a multi-adventure camp

Try before choosing

Children discover what they love before picking one sport for next summer.

Challenge by choice

Everyone is encouraged to push a little further, and nobody is forced.

Small groups

About one leader for every five children on the junior camp, so every child is known by name.

Qualified leaders

Paid leaders hold J+S qualifications; the team includes climbing and mountain guide instructors.

Questions parents ask

What is a multi-activity camp?

A camp where the week is not about one sport: children climb, bike, paddle, explore caves and camp out, a different activity most days. Our Adrenaline Multisports programme, the Senior Adventure Camp and the family camp in Champéry all work this way.

Does my child need any experience?

No. Most of our participants are first-timers, and our instructors teach every skill from the start. Children who already have experience are helped to improve. See our beginner-friendly camps.

Are climbing and via ferrata safe for children?

Safety comes first: preventive measures are in place and strictly followed for every activity, the harness, helmet and ropes are provided, and someone responsible for first aid is always present. Our policies follow the standards of the Vaud Youth Protection Service (SPJ).

Will my child repeat the same activities every week?

No. The afternoon and evening activities change every week, so children who stay two or three weeks always find something new.

How is it different from a travel camp?

A multi-adventure camp has one base: a chalet the group comes back to every evening. On a travel camp the group moves to a new place most days.

Is the equipment included?

Yes: the group and technical equipment (climbing harness and helmet, ropes, tents and activity equipment) is in the price. Your child brings personal clothes and shoes from the packing list in your family account.
