Junior Multisports Camp: the week of 26 July 2026

The Junior Multisports Camp for 8 to 13-year-olds, from the chalet in Les Diablerets. A week of mountain biking on forest and alpine trails, climbing on ropes, games on the grass, a night out in the forest and a last day in the bike park.

Day 6 · Latest

Bike park bends and a bridge between summits

The photos shared on Friday were mostly about bikes. In knee pads and helmets, the riders worked their way down the bends of a bike park under a chairlift, leaning into the berms on dry, dusty earth, with a small lake and high limestone walls across the valley. Another set went higher: a walk across a suspension bridge between two rocky summits, and a group photo by a Swiss flag on the rocks. There was time for a sandwich at a picnic table, and on the way down the riders shared the track with a herd of cows.

Day 5 ·

A night in the forest, then meadows and streams

The group woke up in the forest. The photos show sleeping mats and sleeping bags laid out under the spruces, and the whole group gathered in the clearing for a photo before packing up. Then they walked back through a wide meadow in the morning sun, sleeping bags on their backs, a sharp peak above the trees. Later the group followed a stream through a green, shady wood, climbing over mossy rocks. The last photos show a rest on a sunny alpine meadow under a rocky ridge.

Day 4 ·

Ropes, rock and a stream in the mountains

Wednesday's photos took the group onto rock. In helmets and harnesses, the children lined up at the foot of a grey slab and climbed it on a rope, the leaders belaying below. Higher up, a path crossed the rocks on a wooden walkway with a steel cable to hold, then dropped to a stream running between pale boulders, where the group stopped in the sun. The day ended in the forest: the group sat together among the trees as the light went, and the headlamps came out for the night outdoors.

Day 3 ·

Forest trails and team games around Les Diablerets

The photos of the first days arrived on Tuesday. They show the group on mountain bikes, helmets on, rolling down soft forest paths covered in wood chips between tall spruces, then out on wide gravel tracks above the valley, where the riders stopped to pose with the mountains behind them. Another set shows the team games on the grass below the chalets: cones, balls, a rope across the field and plenty of running. The skies changed from grey cloud in the forest to clear blue on the high tracks, and the week ended its first stretch with a group photo in the evening light, a snowy summit far behind.
