Paddleboards on Lac Retaud, a rope park and a cave

A long batch of photos arrived on Thursday, covering the days before as well. On Lac Retaud the group went out on paddleboards in life jackets, between the forest and the green slopes. In a rope park under tall pines, everyone listened to the guide's briefing in their harnesses, then crossed bridges and zip lines high in the trees. There was more climbing on a sunny slab, a walk along a railed path above the valley, and a game in the woods. Then a cave: helmets, headlamps and muddy, smiling faces. Outside the chalet, three of the group looked up at the sky through solar viewing glasses.

Day 3 ·

Fishing, a waterfall hike and the first climbs

The first photos of the week arrived on Tuesday. The group spent time by a still mountain lake, rods in hand, with the peaks mirrored in the water. On a hike they walked up through the meadows towards a ring of grey cliffs and stopped at the foot of a tall waterfall, small figures under a huge wall of rock. On a pale limestone slab in the forest, the children roped up with helmets and harnesses and climbed one after the other while the others watched from below. The sky was blue, with big white clouds drifting over the peaks.
